Bridge deck Binnenplein

In the heart of Zwijndrecht, the Binnenplein is undergoing a major redevelopment into a green and accessible urban area with a distinct social function. Within this project, C-concrete was responsible for the production of the prefabricated bridge deck that forms an important link within the site. The bridge deck, weighing 50 tons, was realized and installed as one integral prefab element, ensuring fast and efficient execution and high structural quality.

Precast concrete as a unifying element in an urban landscape park
The prefabricated bridge road deck was fully aligned with the landscape design of the Binnenplein, where space is created for pedestrians, cyclists and residential quality. The realization was commissioned by the Zwijndrecht City Council and contributes to a sustainable and future-oriented public domain.
